In response to a complaint...

Donald: "You didn't even put a picture of any of the big fish on there."

Sure, rub it in. Here's his good side that still has an eyeball.

And then his missing eyeball.

Then, this other fish...

Then another...

And ANOTHER...

Wait. This is ridiculous! NOW I remember why I'm supposed to be bitter...

To the Lake

I suppose, if I'm to have a personal blog, I'll just have to stick with it! Having sold the camper (aka the trailer), I guess my new 'traila' will have to be the lake house for now! I'm sure we'll eventually purchase a new camper, so I'm keeping the name. Plus, I like it! Much has happened over the past year, but rather than writing a novel, I'll summarize: We moved to a lake house in Alabama. I am working from home with Donald for now and working on my photography and editing skills. I also really like fishing although I can't seem to catch a single fish...

Well, maybe I did catch that one, but it was an accident, seriously...

Meanwhile, Donald is catching these  and much larger all day long. He even caught a huge one with one eye. Really? I mean, it only had a 50% chance of even seeing his lure. In the meantime, I've been hooked in the earring and smacked in the face with a flying lure. Maybe it's the adrenaline rush of fishing I must like...

Oh, and did I mention we've only lived here 4 months, and our house has already been toilet papered? The entire time I lived in Georgia, I managed to avoid this. It seems to be a fad here. Weird... It's happened to some of our neighbors too, but sporadically. To the toilet papering turds out there, I'm taking notes. Beware.

To show you why I love it here so much despite the occasional toilet paper and my lack of fishing skills, I'll leave you with some photos I've taken since we've been here.

This photo was actually taken by Jessie.  I found it in with my collection and thought it was too beautiful not to show off!
